Position:
Content Creator + Light Marketing 

We’re looking for a multi-talented content creator to help us visually tell our story and support light marketing tasks to grow our presence both online and IRL.

Qualifications

  • Create short-form video (Reels/TikToks) of behind-the-scenes, workshop events, product moments, and seasonal campaigns

  • Design posts and stories aligned with our brand style

  • Assist in planning and executing content calendars

  • Occasionally shoot on-site (studio or pop-ups)

  • Fluent in editing Instagram/TikTok 

  • Assisting with basic marketing tasks:

    • Scheduling content and newsletters

    • Uploading content to social media platforms

    • Supporting small campaign launches and promotions

    • Brainstorming ideas for events, collabs, and seasonal pushes

  • You’re a visual storyteller who loves lifestyle, design, and community

  • You’re organized, proactive, and can work independently

JIĀ (Chinese for home/family) creates a nostalgic collection of home fragrances; candles that tell a story with each burn that represents a link to AAPI roots. Through our work, we hope to fill the gap of AAPI representation missing from the fragrance industry.
We've been making waves since 2021 with our online presence and have recently expanded to a physical location in beautiful Berkeley, CA. Our candle making workshops offer an immersive olfactory experience that engages all senses while we guide guests through the candle making process. Our goal is to invite guests to create candles that remind them of JIĀ, home.
